Natalia Montelongo

Natalia Montelongo is joining the TIS Foundation team to assist with Fundraising and Development. Natalia is the proud daughter of Mexican immigrant parents and as a first-generation Mexican American from Oklahoma, she was able to defy all odds and earned a master’s degree in Public Administration from American University.

Over the last ten years, Natalia has been actively involved with working in the Latinx communities, both in her home state of Oklahoma and in the Washington, DC area. She has served her time focusing on ensuring youth, parents, and families have access to supportive services, including mentorship, economic opportunity programs, and evidence-based training. Natalia’s drive comes from her own lived experiences, and she hopes by combining her personal and professional experiences, she will be able to ensure all children and families do not go hungry, have access to health care and healthy options, and have the necessary tools to break the cycle of poverty.

During her free time, she enjoys working out, cooking up a new recipe, and spending time with her significant other.
