Bright Eric OHENE, MD, PhD, is a Ghanaian cardiovascular surgeon and Invasive Cardiologist, biomedical scientist, expert in diseases of poverty, international medicine and public health, global health advocate and motivational speaker. His clinical and research works cover both surgical and interventional procedures for valvular, aortic, structural, coronary and congenital heart diseases. He supported and served in various capacity for several african diplomatic missions and diaspora communities in China, and currently is the first African representative member of the board of directors for the Asian society of Cardiology. Dr. Ohene is a strong supporter of the “health for all” mantra and committed to serving the forgotten millions around the world suffering from preventable and treatable diseases.
